As we wrap up an eventful 2024 and look ahead to an exciting 2025, we’re thrilled to share the journey of Golden Valley Jamberoo with you. This year has been filled with significant milestones, and we’re ready to continue building a community that honours Jamberoo’s rich heritage.
One of our first tasks was preparing the detailed engineering design for the internal roads and services for the subdivision, ensuring we’re making the most of this beautiful land while respecting the surrounding environment. It’s amazing how a stretch of land can transform when you start envisioning the streets where families will one day stroll and children will ride their bikes.
We have also undertaken extensive exploration work which involved a fair bit of digging – not just holes, but into the history of the land itself. Our specialist consultants carefully uncovered indigenous artefacts which have now been collected and recorded.
Our biggest challenge for 2024 has been identifying the location of the existing services in the road reserve between Jamberoo and Jerrara so we can design the new town sewer line around them. The plans show where the pipes and cables should be, but excavation works proved the plans to be wrong! We had to call in the technical experts with ground-penetrating radar to collect the data we needed, and now we are ready to move forward with the sewer main design.
In 2024 we made significant strides in our marketing and communication efforts to connect with prospective buyers and the local community. A key milestone was the launch of our official website, goldenvalleyjamberoo.com.au. This digital platform serves as a central hub for information about the development, showcasing the unique features of Golden Valley Jamberoo, the release of the Masterplan and providing regular updates on our progress.
We also recognised the importance of supporting local talent and fostering connections within the community. To this end, we introduced prospective buyers to exceptional local designers and architects who could bring their dream homes to life. This initiative not only supports the local creative economy but also ensures that the new homes in Golden Valley Jamberoo will be designed with a deep understanding of the area’s character and lifestyle.
We believe that being part of Jamberoo means being an active participant in its vibrant community life. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with the Jamberoo Superoos RLFC as their main sponsor for the upcoming season. There’s nothing quite like the spirit of local sports to bring a community together!
Jennifer Macquarie, as the selling agent, has been personally connecting with potential buyers, offering a warm and personalized approach to guide them through the process of securing their ideal home site. This hands-on involvement reflects our commitment to building not just houses, but a community.
As we step into 2025, our excitement only grows. We’re gearing up to continue our planning and engineering activities, fine-tuning the placement and design of each lot. Our goal is to ensure that Golden Valley integrates seamlessly into Jamberoo and its surroundings, enhancing rather than disrupting the area’s natural beauty and community feel.
The date for our land release is not yet finalised as it’s dependent on the approval of the external sewer design and other technical requirements, but the marketing team is getting everything in place so we are ready to go when our project managers give us the go-ahead. It’s a thrilling prospect to think of the new families who will soon call Jamberoo home, bringing fresh energy and vitality to our beloved village.
As we continue this exciting journey, we invite you to stay connected. If you haven’t already, please register your interest to stay in the loop. This ensures you’ll be among the first to receive updates on our progress, lot releases, and any community events we might host.
Every decision we make is guided by our deep respect for Jamberoo’s character and our vision for its future. We’re committed to creating a place where families can put down roots, where children can grow up with the freedom and safety we cherish, and where the spirit of community thrives.
